ANDY BRAY NOMINATED BUSINESS MAN OF THE YEAR:
Andy
Bray has been an employee of FitzVogt for the past eight years. Through his hard work, diligence and leadership
capabilities, he has reached the position of Area Manager. Andy oversees the entire Vermont Meals on Wheels
program along with the VT Criminal Justice Training Council in Pittsford, VT and the College of St. Josephs in Rutland, VT.
Andy was key to the development of East Creek Catering, which Is a subsidiary of FitzVogt. East Creek services
Rutland County and the neighboring areas with two mobile kitchens for offsite catering as well as onsite banquet room.
Through Andy’s management and exceptional team, East Creek has increased sales and annual profits every year
since its inception. He has helped to develop this program into a successful asset to FitzVogt.
Andy believes in providing good, old-fashioned customer service. His ability to listen and respond to
the customers needs is key to his success. His Texas drawl is quickly followed by his trademark chuckle,
which puts both customers and his employees at ease. He is quick to assist his employees and is a “hands
on manager”. He understands the job he is asking his employees to do and is willing to work next
to them to get the job done. He manages to keep a good disposition and positive attitude in stressful situations
and is a good role model to those that work around him. He oversees the employment of over 50 people, all
of which respect and appreciate his gentle approach, honesty and commitment.
Andy brought a wealth of knowledge,
creativity and experience to FitzVogt. He is quick to share his ideas and assistance and is well respected
in the industry. East Creek Catering had a record month in October, 2009. They catered
42 events and served over 5,300 meals!
